Hey, i would love to open my own computer repair shop. I was wondering what, if any, schooling do you think i would need to undergo. I know pretty much everything i need to know already from google and self taught, its just i don't want some one to come to me and ask why they think i am qualified and i have nothing to show them.

Big post warning... First off, you rock. And hey man, I would love to see the rest of your tutorial on PHP programming and the making of your web game. Also, I know you can prettymuch figure out a bit of the code for it if you jump ahead the the next video in that part where you skim over it real quick, but it would be great if you could clarify that. ALSO there's a ton of references to your website, which I'm pretty sure is down at the moment or somethin? I feel like a dick if you have mentioned this somewhere else, but tbh I haven't watched every single one of your vids.
I feel like a dick if you have mentioned this somewhere else, but tbh I haven't watched every single one of your vids. But yeah, if you could let us know what's going on with that, that'd be great.
I wanna know: What is your favourite food? What is your favourite game? Pirates, Vikings or Ninkas? What's your favourite computer game? Have you thought about running for president? Why are you so awesome? I like cheese.
How's Sammy the Saussage goin? What's your favouite make of car? What's your favourite Content Management System? (If you know about them - or like them for that matter.) Can you pls teach me some more PHP like how to use it to store variables in cookies or whatever so that it can do dynamic type stuff. (Your other little lessons on it were sweet!)
What's your favourite movie and actor/ress? Who's music do you listen to the most? -> Or what kind of music? What's your favourite TV show? What kinda shampoo do you use? Do you think widescreen was a good development? -> Why? What was your favourite show as a kid? (if applicable) (I loved TinTin!) What's your favourite firearm? -> IRL or Games, doesn't matter.
What's your fav type of game? (action, rpg, rts, sim, cas, adv, puz, indie, etc.) And if you're gonna do another After Effects tut, you should tackle action rotoscoping or whatever it is. Like where you can cut out footage but along a timeline and give it alpha or solid bg or mask or whatever. For example to cut out a dude talking and walking for a website or whatever ....
but without bluescreen filming!!! xD BTW you are awesome and you're right, my 4 year Graphic Design degree was a F*(#*)(#*%ing JOKE!!! I was teaching THEM the entire time.. aswell as the entire class lol. And I didn't know crap. Now I am like WHY THE HELL DID I GO BACK TO STUDY A CERT IV in MULTIMEDIA?!?! lol. Your tutorials are very helpful for bypassing their crap and simplifying it down. And yes, it helps me teach the class, lol.
CRAP I forgot something, I was supposed to ask you if you could make Microsoft Visual Studio or Visual Basics tutorials, cause my boss at work where I do Graphic & Web Design wants me to program sites in VB through MSV so I will get a ton more work, but yeah it's pretty weird to use, not sure if you're familiar with it. But even after watching your tuts on PHP to declare strings and variables and stuff it made a lot more sense. BTW have a sweet day!

Also, do you know where you can get sweet sound effects? I used to use Soundsnap, cause it was open source and pretty damn good if you knew what to look for, but yeah then they went all commercial and stuff and it's not so easy to use anymore so don't know where else to look. ... BYE!

bucky,

I am loving your tutorials....thanks man!

I just completed your Java Game Development lession 22.

I am having an issue going fullscreen with a resolution greater than 800x600. I am running windows 7 64 bit with a screen resolution of 1080x1024. I have added these two addtional DisplayModes to the DisplayMode method (1280,1024 and 1024,768). The game seems to detect both of these modes but when the movie starts it does not go full screen on either of those modes. The window will just be in the upper left corner of the screen and the area outside of the window will flicker when the movie is playing. The graphics inside the window is smooth. If I remove these two modes, the movie will go fullscreen with the 800x600 mode.

Any assistance would be appreicated.

Best regards,

Joe Coyle

Hey BuckY loving the c+ vids I started with ASM wrote a few virus's back in the old days
The old guys will remember this classic snippet
Xor ax,ax
Mov es,ax
Mov ax,es:413
Dec ax
Mov es:413,ax
This decrements total memory available by 1Kb. Perfect for dumping your code into and then point
int 13 to it
Any way to do this with C++
